Sewer bills are mailed to Cinnaminson Township homeowners on a quarterly basis. If you got your last bill in March/April, then expect to receive the next bills in June/July, September/October, and December/June.
Sewer charges are based on your actual quarterly water consumption as supplied by the NJ American Water Company. Your water meter readings are provided to us which we use to calculate your bill.
Your sewer charges are broken into two parts. The first is a minimum quarterly charge of $40.00 that includes the first 10,000 gallons of supplied water. The second is a charge of $4.40 per every 1000 gallons of water used over the first 10,000. There is also a $5.00 fee if you have a garbage disposal installed.
Example 1: You consumed 9,000 gallons of water over the last three months, then your Sewer bill will be the minimum charge of $40.00.
There are two options for paying your bill.
1) In person: You can bring your payment to the Cinnaminson Township Building located at 1621 Riverton Road which is on the corner of Riverton Road and Manor Road. The Sewerage Authority office is the first office on the right as you enter the main entrance of the building. The Sewerage Authority office is open from 8:30am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.
2) Mail payment:
Send a check with your account number written on it along with the payment stub to:
Cinnaminson Sewerage Authority
PO Box 2100
1621 Riverton Road
Cinnaminson, NJ 08077-5100
Make check payable to "Cinnaminson Sewerage Authority".
Please remit payment by the "PLEASE PAY BY" date box printed on your bill. If not paid by this date, a penalty of 1.5% per month will be added to your bill.
Unpaid sewer bills constitute a lien against the property.
Call the sewerage authority first (856-829-2271) and we will check to see that our main is clear. If we tell you our main line is clear, then you will have to call a plumber to clear your pipes inside your house and the pipe between your house and the main line in the street.
